I/O error, dev sda, sector 29063648 op 0x0:(read) flags 0x0 phys_seg 1 prio class 3

I am using zorin os 17 and my laptop is the lenovo thinkpad t450s. I was installing something from firefox when it all of the sudden closed and all of the fonts broke. I restarted the laptop and it is a lot more slower. Opening anything froze the laptop and the error is shown on the screen after a little bit of time. I managed to get lucky one time with opening the file manager and uninstalling the thing i was downloading but that did not fix the problem. Could someone help me?

Welcome to the Forum!

Could You explain what exactly did You installed and how You uninstalled it?

I would start backing up personal files and data then do some disk drive diagnostics.
