I'm having trouble installing dual boot.

The problem is this: I want to use Zorin OS along with Windows 11 in a dual boot configuration. To do this, I created a new partition on my SSD where my Windows 11 is installed, and a smaller partition to place the Zorin OS image. I then proceeded with the installation, restarted the computer, and booted from the Zorin image (so far, so good). However, during the system installation, I encounter an error (I will translate it as it is in Portuguese): "Failed to unmount partitions - the installer needs to make changes to the partition table. The following mount points could not be unmounted: /cdrom - Please close any applications that are using these mount points." If anyone can help me, I would be very grateful!

So, Windows is installed and now You want install Zorin ... Some Questions first:

  • Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?
  • Is Fast Start-Up in Windows disabled?
  • Is Your BIOS in UEFI or Legacy Mode?
  • What Tool did You use to create the bootable USB Stick?
  • What Install Option did You choose? ''Install Zorin alongside Windows'' or ''Something else''? If Something else: What Partitions did You created and what Option did You choose under ''Device for boot loader installation''?

Hmm, do I understand well that you copied the ZorinOS image on your SSD and booted from there? If so, that is probably the problem - you'll want to create a USB bootable disk instead, and boot from that.
