I'm putting Firefox to sleep. Anyone know about Brave?

When I was using Firefox on Zorin 16.3, I didn't have to sign in to Google to get my YouTube page every time I opened the browser. Now with Brave, I do. Anyone know what switch I need to throw and where it's located so I can stay signed in to YouTube?

I used to use Vivaldi for several years but switched to Brave about 2 years ago ..... no problems but you need to do a search on Youtube about which settings to change to make it more secure and get rid of some annoying features .....

Using Brave A.I. via mojeek search engine in Bromite:

Stay Signed In to YouTube

To stay signed in to YouTube with the Brave browser without having to keep logging in to Google, you can try the following steps:

  1. Ensure that you are not blocking cookies. Blocking cookies can cause Google to sign you out every time you close the browser.
  2. Check your browser settings to make sure that Brave is configured to retain login details. If you are still experiencing issues, you might need to adjust your settings or use the password manager to save your login details.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to reach out to the Brave community or support forums for further assistance.

I watched several videos about this and threw a lot of switches to make Brave more secure but this fixed it. Ironically, one of the videos told me to select "Block 3rd party cookies" but switching to "Allow all cookies" at "Settings>Shields" fixed the problem immediately. Thanks

What happened to the "Solution" button?

The Feedback forum is for providing suggestions, requests or cristisim criticism/praise of Zorin OS and is not a Troubleshooting helpdesk. As such, solutions do not apply.

I just moved your thread to General Help, which is a troubleshooting forum since you were asking a direct help question seeking a solution: you can now mark solutions.

Got to look up "cristisim"; is that a new game?
