Impossible to select multiple files with mouse

Hello,
In Zorin OS 17.2 PRO I would like to select multiple files with the mouse in the file explorer but it does not work at all... How can I do it ?

You holding down the left Mouse Button and while holding down move the appearing Field with the Mouse over the Files.
