I use Synaptic to install Cinnamon, but the star is not showing. I logout, and restart. No luck to pick Cinnamon. What I am doing wrong?. Thanks. Last time I saw a star and pick zorin wayland. I guess that I mess up something.
Open up the terminal and copy paste this line
Cinnamon Desktop with (minimalist)
sudo apt install cinnamon
sudo apt install cinnamon-core
Or full:
sudo apt install cinnamon-desktop-environment
Restart the computer, when you are @ the login screen you see a wheel. Click on it and select the cinnamon desktop.

Thanks. The pick desktop change location to top. Is working now.
