The Zorin choice works until Windows9 restores its original manager selection.
The Zorin option afterwards disappears, and only Windows9 boots thereafter.
Is Windows9 refusing to share? Is there a remedy?

Windows 9 doesn’t exist.
That said, is secure boot (BIOS) disabled?
Live Media USB is more my speed. Secure Boot is disabled though.
You’re running Live or you installed? If the former then I don’t understand what you meant in your OP. If the latter, then please confirm the suggestion here.
Maybe I can use another $30 SSD with a Zorin16 standalone installation. At any rate, I recovered the new partitions for the Win9 system for now.
