Install Zorin16 installs alongside Windows9 on my SSD... Zorin16 soon fails

The Zorin choice works until Windows9 restores its original manager selection.
The Zorin option afterwards disappears, and only Windows9 boots thereafter.
Is Windows9 refusing to share? Is there a remedy?
Brian

Windows 9 doesn’t exist.
That said, is secure boot (BIOS) disabled?

Live Media USB is more my speed. Secure Boot is disabled though.

You’re running Live or you installed? If the former then I don’t understand what you meant in your OP. If the latter, then please confirm the suggestion here.

Maybe I can use another $30 SSD with a Zorin16 standalone installation. At any rate, I recovered the new partitions for the Win9 system for now.
