I recently installed zorin-18 core to my laptop, and affinity photo editor with it, when i was browsing through, i noticed that under the C: drive, the folder architecture of my old windows setup was still there, however, sections like the downloads folder shared the contents of my zorin downloads, and i cannot access these folders from terminal, or file browser, is this just affinity trying to cope with being on linux (via wine)
Hard to say, @AlexPerry . Did you install Zorin "alongside Windows" or did you delete Windows?
Installing Zorin along side Windows would indeed keep the Windows file structure intact that can be visible from the Zorin side.
Welcome to the Forum!
What Installation Option did You choose? ''erase disk'', ''Install Zorin alongside Windows'' or ''Something else''?
Thank you, i did select remove windows
So, the ''erase disk'' Option, yes? Let's take a Look at the Partitions. Open the Terminal and type sudo apt install gparted or search in Gnome Software for Gparted and install it there. When installed, open it and make a Screenshot please and post it here.
