Installing a windows application

Hmmm... It looks like it silently errors out. Perhaps due to a missing .dll

I tried searching WineHQ for 2-BoxTheory. I found Zero results.

Using the terminal, can you run

wine ~/Downloads/Box-Theory-Software-and-Content/2-BoxTheoryInstaller.exe

And relay the output? It may print the errors.

This is the printer app found in the Zorin settings menu.

Error message: wine: failed to open "/home/pmeikle/Downloads/Box-Theory-Software-and-Content/2-BoxTheoryInstaller.exe": c0000135

Thanks.

While this is not much... It suggests a missing .dll

Missing .dll (we don't know which one)- my first guess would be something included in dot NET.

Can you try installing dot Net and vcrun2019?

The simplest method is by using Winetricks

sudo apt install winetricks

winetricks dotnet48 vcrun2019

Installed winetricks:

On this one, you may need to kill the Bottles process if you have installed and run Bottles, too.

Ok, you installed winetricks; Have you then proceeded to install dotnet48 and vcrun2019?

How do I install dotnet48 and vcrun2019?

If you've got winetricks installed, you should be able to open it and then install those from that application. If you look at this article (a bit older article, but winetricks is basically the same now) it can show you how to mostly do common things one might be wanting to do with Wine:

Using Winetricks on Linux for WINE Optimization

Thank you! Now running winetricks. Found the executable in explorer "boxtheorysoftwareinstall", but I haven't found it when I try to run the executable "Run an arbitrary executable"...

Any ideas to resolve this?
