Installing Zorin with Wine on an Acer Aspire V5 - A Dropbox problem

OK - well I think that this message could become the solution in this thread.

  1. Make the Zorin installation USB stick and boot from it on the Acer.
  2. Once you have it up and running then install it so that it is written to disk.
  3. Browse using the browser to find Dropbox and install this on the Acer
  4. Now the special bit. Instead of installing WINE from the Software Store follow some instructions which Azorin gave back in August in a different thread:
How to install and run Windows apps
This installs WINE and lots of other stuff. You probably also need to follow Azorin’s suggestion and install PlayOnLinux as well. Once these are in place it is easy to go to a suitable website using the browser, downloading the Windows version of the program as an .exe and following the prompts.
