Hello,
Looking for information about Zorin integration with M365 services ie. Intune as well as compatibility with Office cloud sync without need of using web browser.
Welcome to the Forum!
You could go to Settings>Online Accounts and there You can set up Acoounts for Microsoft Stuff. Alternatively, You could use the preinstalled Program called ''Webapps'' to create PWA's from Online Services.
Hello, I am playing good bit with Enterprise management and apart from lack of Microsoft Office Linux version everything works very good.
As Enterprise Administrator of Intune, EntraID and SharePoint, I am super keen to participate on Linux Zorin development for such scenario.
Given your comments in another thread; Can you please clarify what you are seeking here?
What I do know of InTune is that Microsoft does support Ubuntu but with limitations.
This is partly due to the Microsoft EcoSystem dependencies.
" Open-source alternatives to Intune and Microsoft Entra Conditional Access exist but typically require combining multiple specialized tools rather than a single unified platform. Key components identified for replicating Intune's functionality include:
These open-source solutions offer cost-effective, customizable, and auditable options for organizations willing to manage the technical complexity of a multi-tool architecture, though they lack the seamless, single-vendor integration of the proprietary Microsoft ecosystem.

Additionally, for me personally, working from home during lockdown until retirement my workflow was much faster using SoftMaker Office.
Hello,
As from intune management point of view for admins main feature would be to easily view Linux devices in Endpoint portal. I am aware of Ubuntu version that Microsoft supports for Intune and to be honest does very basic stuff like registry device to Intune and allows running some scripts and for begging it is good start point. Unfortunately version of Ubuntu supported by Intune is not as good as Zorin according to my tests. Many organisations in Europe move away from Windows OS I'd love to get involved on Zorins direction forwards Microsoft 365 integration. As you know Windows is one thing where Microsoft 355 is the other and corporate world can't live without second one at the moment. Integration is more than required.
By your above statements, are you saying that this is Feedback and a suggestion of integration to the ZorinGroup, rather than a problem-solving troublew-shooting thread?
The answer is YES ![]()
I have moved this thread to the Feedback forum. ![]()
A lot of the trouble is that this is a Microsoft issue, not a Linux, GnuLinux or Zorin OS issue.
Microsoft needs to supply the means of support. They do provide partial (limited) support on Ubuntu.
Since there is no Azure AD support; ZorinGroup's hands are tied by Microsoft for furthering Zorin OS's current ability to be compatible with all of Intune, AutoPilot, etc.
Zorin OS can provide the base; which a lot of that it already does. But there can be complications where Privacy & Security are considered for Zorin OS as a whole.
There may be other methods including a browser-only method, where enrollment and management occurs only on a browser.
Or using a different MDM, like FleetDM combined was Azure.
Let's push Microsoft little bit more on this matter....
Maybe idea of "Company" section on Linux bit like Android has on personal devices might be some good start....?
