Intel Ax210 not showing wifi

Hey all,

Firstly, thank you for your time.

I recently picked up an Intel Ax210 wifi/bluetooth PCIe adapter after seeing it recommended here (somewhere here lol) It's specifically the OKN Wifi 6E AX5400 pcie wifi card (Intel AX210)

I installed it and booted up the computer. I see the bluetooth is working. It shows a new blue icon in the Zorin OS 18 systray and when I select it I can see available bluetooth devices. Awesome!

But, I don't see a wifi option and unless I physically plug in an ethernet cable to the computer I can't get wifi at all.

When I go to the additional drivers tab in the software updater (With an internet connection) It says there are no additional drivers/devices.

It seems like it has partially plugged and played, but not fully. Any idea how to get the wifi part of this card to run? Thanks again!

i found this site with what they suggest to get it up and running....Good luck

Its possible the country code is set to "00" and needs to be set to country of use

Go back to kernel 6.14. At grub menu select "Advanced options for Zorin" and select kernel 6.14 to boot from. Then test WIFI.

If grub menu isn't displayed at boot press continuosly esc key (or left shift key with a legacy BIOS) during boot.

So I went for the easiest thing first, which was to check the country code (indeed set to global), I switched it to US country code, did a simple reboot after, and it then showed up and is working perfectly with no further adjustment needed!

Thanks for the help! Ended up being a simple quick fix!

NP glad that worked and welcome to forum and Linux.....
