Does anyone know if we need to install this GitHub - canonical/intel-graphics-preview to get 3D to work in Zorn 18. I have tried it without this and nothing that requires DirectX 12 will run. These all run on new kernels like that in Fedora 42, but in Zorn with the 6.14 it seems to be missing something. Thanks

If you try it out to test, a quick warning: Installing the Ubuntu 24.10 desktop would remove and overwrite the Zorin Desktop; so that step should be skipped.
If the install fails - it likely means that dependencies that are needed and in the 24.10 transitive desktop are what is needed and whether those can be safely installed on Zorin OS would have to be examined individually.
Thanks, wanted to check before trying and see if anyone had any ideal on getting DirectX 12 to work with this card. I have an AMD card but haven't tried it yet, maybe that will have to be my next step.

I ended up being the mesa drivers, had to install the newer mesa drivers by following this How to Install Mesa Drivers on Ubuntu [Latest and Stable]. To note installing the newer Kernel did give me some performance. I ended up using 6.16 which seems to give the best results. Thanks to everyone. I appreciate your time.
