i need 125% of fractional scaling to have a readable interface on my 14'' 1080p laptop. but the fractional scaling in GNOME Wayland can cause XWayland apps to be blurry (like Microsoft Edge and many other apps), likely because the xwayland rendering solution is going down and force stretched to the 125% screen. this is a common problem on gnome.
i googled found changing text scaling to 1.25 in gnome-tweaks and set scaling factor to 100% works without blur, but all gtk apps looks like only texts are scaled but interface is still 100%, they looks strange:
A Patch would be a Thing of the Desktop Environment and/or the individual Program I guess. Because Gnome 43.9 is at the End the Developers of the individual Program could theoretically make something but there would be the Problem if this causes Issues with later Desktop Versions.
The problematic Programs: Are these Flatpak's, Snap's, .deb's or a Mixture of all?
Well ... then I guess, you could contact the software Developers and describe that to them and then hopefully they could update there Programs or ... You must wait until Zorin 18 comes with a more modern Gnome Version and then it hopefully works with Wayland.
