Is there anyway i can add folders to my favourites in the file manager?

It just saves an extra click or two but it would be nice!
what is the file manager called ? it just says "files" unless thats it's name of course?
Sorry for such silly questions but only had Zorin a day!

Mike

"files" is nautilus, and you can add signet with CTRL+D when you are in a folder, you will see it in the left side panel.

There's an option called Starred. You can right-click on a folder and choose Properties, then on the window that pops up you can click the top left corner where there's a greyed-out star. This will add it to your starred files and folders. It also works for files. This is what I do in zorin 18.

Only to clear that for me: You mean with Favourites the Favourites Entry in the Nautilus Sidebar or You want to have a Folder directly in the Sidebar?

This got my attention, because I wondered about the same thing. But I don't find anything called signet, and ctrl-d doesn't seem to have a default action for navigation or file operations.

my bad, it's bookmark, take a look at this

drag and drop work for bookmarks and CTRL+D also

Ah! that's the one that works! Great thanks.

and also thanks for the Links!!
