You could put it up like this; Zorin OS is a better system than Windows, so all in fairness it should be more expensive than Windows. However you can get Zorin OS free = core.
I can see my one objection to Plasma 6 in your screenshot. The default "floating" taskbar drives me nuts. I always have to toggle off floating immediately.
The only beef I have with KDE is the use of 16px and 22 px icons in most everything. The should do as Gnome at this point; drop the small icons or make them bigger. Noone can anyway not see what a 16-22px icons looks like.
I like it
Huh. I haven't had any problems with the icons in Plasma, and I'm pretty significantly nearsighted. Then again, my monitor is large, and 4k, so I've got scaling up a bit. That may keep me from noticing.
We recently had a user asking for their file manager to open to whichever directory they'd had it in last instead of always opening to their home directory. Plasma defaults to that, and when they asked, I'd actually just disabled that feature. I'm fairly used to my preferences being outliers. I'm what's sometimes referred to as a "Harbinger of Failure." What I like is disproportionately often disliked by the majority:
My favorite salad dressing has been discontinued. Three times.
I hope the price soon be stable and balanced with another operating systems.
Last time I checked you can use Win 10 and 11 without a product key so free just like Zorin. The Zorin Pro is really about a donation to support Zorin developement.
