Issue with game, graphics capability

It is possible that Arch or POP_OS have patches in their kernel.
I am honestly at a loss, here.

Thank you for your help

I will see what should I do next

Yes, I will search based on Ubuntu 20.04 and your AMD graphics card details.

Try installing Mesa Graphic to play FM. I used it to play FM 20 on Zorin 15 a few months ago and it worked. i don't know if this works for Radeon or not. because I don't have a Radeon.

Also, Bourne just pointed out a solution given by Storm not long ago for his Radeon card- maybe it might help you as well:

this is what i have in grub

You fixed all issues ?

I am not on Zorin atm, will check soon..

Right now I am on Solus KDE, game is smooth, and I got 4 stars from 5 for graphics capability..

I am really curious what is the main reason for that ? I was so optimistic about Zorin, really wanted to stay on it

Makes two of us. I do not game so much, so I lack the proper experience to really help you. I bet that the solution is out there and easier than we may fear...

Yeah..maybe someone here more experienced ? I don't want to contact devs for this, because not sure is it Zorin or Ubuntu issue

Maybe I am wrong with problem here but if o know what model graphic cards it is then I can research on some websides to find best solution what working for another people. I also would know if this is a laptop or PC.

All help is appreciated:
AMD Ryzen 5 3500U with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx

I cannot recall if the O.P. is using notebook or tower PC, though.

Then I understand this is SoC processor where graphic card is integrated.

Hi guys,

I am back. Thanks for your support. I tried those but no luck.
Asked on Telegram Zorin group for help, and got this

Needed to add this repo :

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kisak/kisak-mesa
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
I updated to latest kernel also.

And now I have 3 from 5 stars  more than enough
