I have issue when using Zoin 18 OS, usually I’m working with both language, English and Arabic, when I enter my laptop password it stick with Arabic keyboard. Is there any option to make it forced by default to be in English? Because that is uncomfortable when you enter your password multiple times then you realize that it is in Arabic.
Is the English keyboard layout at first position in your keyboard settings (layouts)?
If that doesn't help you can try to edit /etc/default/keyboard (with sudo rights)
sudo nano /etc/default/keyboard
Search for the line XKBLAYOUT
and change the layout e.g. to "us"
XKBLAYOUT="us"
Then press ctrl+o to save the file, press enter to confirm and ctrl+x to exit the nano editor. Then reboot and test.

When You have 2 Langauges in the Keyboard Settings, You should have on the Login Screen in the top right Corner an Indicator which Keyboard Language Layout is chosen. There You can change it.
