Hello, for context, I've just moved over from Windows, so I don't have any clue of how any linux distro works.
I'm using a AMD RX 580 and have tried both clean steam installation (one from the Software center, one from the steam website). When I try to launch the game "Blue Archive", it just flashes the taskbar and disappear. I've tried with every proton version that steam provides, as well as the latest GE-proton, but to no avail.
I've followed some guide online and updated mesa GPU driver. Due to my lack of linux knowledge, I can't evaluate whether this is the correct driver.
Currently, I don't know what to do asides trying more GE proton version. I await for your guidance. If there is anything more that I can provide, please let me know. In the mean time, I will try to follow online tutorials.
Everything looks correct except that your renderer is falling back to LLVMPIPE.
And that would cause the game to not launch.
Proton versions won't change that.
Your given code gave me this result: 6.14.0-37-generic.
One other thing I've encounter upon. Is that when a game does launch (in this case, a steam game called MUCK) it's very laggy. When I run nvtop, the GPU usage is 0%.
For gaming in Zorin switch to Xorg instead, in the login screen before you enter your password there's a small clog at the bottom right, change to Xorg, then the game should work now
Having strange issue with controllers not working in games....firstly thru steam the PS4, XBox, Dragonshock all work in steam's embedded test... Then I used my favorite site for fine tuning & calibration Hardware Tester direct with Zorin and all 3 work superb with the PS4's "touchpad" working flawlessly in Zorin to control mouse!! kudos<3 ... I'm going to trying a few more things after a fresh reboot in hopes that I can get this sorted. Any other ideas or tips would be greatly appreciated. T3
