It's possible to install Zorin Pro on Macbook 2006 MacBook2,1 (EFI32)?

Hello everyone, I want to install Zorin (if possible, the 17 Pro version that I purchased) on a MacBook Late 2006 code MacBook2,1
Intel Core 2 Duo T7200 2,0GHZ
2GB RAM DDR2
SSD 960GB (new)
Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Windows 7 works perfectly, but as Mac X Lion, are outdated systems with little modern software support (especially Mac)
It has the EFI32 firmware, which is a problem (the standard is EFI64 and because of this the Mac don't update to Mountain Lion or higher)
If somebody want to help me in installing Zorin (or any modern Linux that runs on my Mac, preferably with support for graphics format like WEBP or HEIC), thanks in advance

When I'm not wrong, Debian still should have 32bit Installations.

If you don't fancy plain Debian, Linux Mint also have a release based on Debian though it gets less development than their main Ubuntu-derived version, but Debian is a slow release anyway.

I don't know if it'll work for a Mac, but for my old Dell 2-in-1 tablet I installed Linux Mint Debian Edition to get 32bit grub installed and then resized the partition to install Zorin next to it - luckily, Zorin detected the existing grub and and just added its own config files rather than trying to reinstall 64bit grub, so it boots fine.
