JFTP app install method?

Net zorin user but generally familliar with ubuntu /debian
I found the JFTP listed under Settings->Applications but when clicked - I get a bare Permissions > Notifications enabled, and an option to open in software.

The latter option shows as not found.

A search in Software fails to find.

In a terminal :- which jftp /usr/bin/jftp #and apt list -a jftp Listing... Done jftp/now 1.60+dfsg-4 all [installed,local]

How should it have been installed to work with x11 ??

Could be. You could simply test it. Switch to X11 and look if it works.

I'm not familiar with this program but it looks like it's supposed to be used in conjunction with something else. To switch to Xorg, you'll have to log out of your account and use the wheel icon on the lower right corner:

But this looks like quite an old project; most recent update was back in 2016. If you need an FTP client, I'd suggest FileZilla.

Thanks @Ponce-De-Leon and @zenzen
I really don't get why jftp had been installed, unless it was added by something else. I was going to from CLI apt remove, and apt reinstall to see if that fixed anything BUT when removed it was no longer in apt list.
Anyway thanks seems any number of alternatives.
