A shiny new kernal was waiting for me when I got home today - took all of 30 seconds to update. At least Microsoft have the good grace to allow me the time to make a coffee and a sandwich whilst Windows does the same thing

MS updates can ruin a good 8 hours sleep, including vivid nightmares of what may greet you when done.
