Kernel 6.17 freeze on login after installing Nvidia 5060 laptop GPU. PLEASE 🥺 HELP!

You know there is an RGB lining to all of this :drum:

my keyboard has rgb as well from EVGA its mechanical so i can replace dead keys

nvidia and linux i took out an rtx 3050 for an RX 6600XT works even better now...lol

I almost bought a typewriter keyboard because I was worried the keys would be garbage on legion 5 but I have to say it's extremely satisfying to type on it. I'll be right back, I need to repair the install

Nice :+1:

wow fun day ...so far...lol but im sure we will get there...hopefully

Oh I know we will get there. I just hope it's not a kernel issue cause I really like Zorin so far. I don't want to go to a different distro (if that's even the problem which I highly HIGHLY doubt it is). As I stated at the top, I don't like giving up. I love trouble shooting although this is new to me. If I can't get it to work, I refuse to go back to Windows. I hate Bill Gates and I hate Windows. XP was the last best version :joy: .
Okay should I do:
[sudo ubuntu-drivers-autoinstall]
OR
[sudo apt install nvidia-driver-580] this run?

2nd one hopefully its the 580.142

Yeah I know... I can't tell cause it doesn't give me the specific version once installed. I'll do the 2nd one again, then. So run your code after the installation? If I install and reboot now it's just going to repeat the freeze

inxi -G

in the terminal

Oh, I'll try that then

So since it's saying Redeon and (idk why Wayland) run the code to force Nvidia?

ok what does the settings system about system details show now
