Kernel change

I wanted to change the zorinOS kernel, but I couldn't due to the problems it gives me, so I want to know if anyone has had problems with the kernel and what I can do, to be specific the problem it gives me is about nvidia, always what change of kernel what has been the graphics (notebook) stops working leaving me only with the one that comes in the processor. One of the reasons why I want to update is because my laptop is recent (2020), and that in kernel 5.19 they solve heating problems with the architecture model of my processor (comet lake), and also improve the duration of the battery (all this in sleep mode), so it would be great to update the kernel. Thank you

I recommend using the TuxInvader kernel:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tuxinvader/lts-mainline

sudo apt update && sudo apt-get install linux-generic-5.19 -y

I had the xanmod vanilla kernel installed without a problem. I found that it helped my GPU performance a bit, at least in Zorin OS 16. I haven't seen the problem in the Lite version yet, but I've only had installed for a day.
