Hello its been a fine while i been using Zorin Os and im very satisfied with the result it can replace windows in almost everithing i do, and i say almost because im still have to use windows for some online games, but for the rest i can use linux. However there are still some things that still not work properly in linux like for example keyboard shortcuts. For example i like to use smplayer as my default video player and i like it to start in fullscreen, however sometimes i need the instruments bar it can be enabled in full screen by the right click menu or by pressing F5 on the keyboard, but when i press F5 on my keyboard it does nothing, or an other example is when in Firestorm Viewer i need to press CTRL + ALT + T to highlight transparent objects it opens me the os's terminal instead, obviously i can also use this function by going trough firestorm's menus, but having the ability to use keyboard shortcuts of the focused applications can make doing some things quicker, is thewre a solution to this? Its not a big problem but it surely can help making the use of apps more confortful.
When you use Zorin Core/Pro you can define your own keyboard shortcuts under settings>keyboard>keyboard shortcuts and, for example, change the shortcut for opening the terminal.

The keyboard shortcuts might be overlapping with some of the ones you're used to. For example, like you found out, Ctrl + Alt + T is commonly used to launch the Terminal. You can explore and change these shortcuts through Settings → Keyboard Shortcuts, and you can even create your own.
I'm not familiar with SMPlayer so I can't say why it isn't working, but probably some conflict with an existing shortcut. Try to explore the ones that already exist for that key.
Thank you guys i just disabled the CTRL + Alt + T shortcut as i have the terminal in the taskbar and can also open it by presing the keys Super + 1 and now the shortcut CTRL + Alt + T works fine in Firestorm, for SMPlayer i noticed F5 works fine when in normal mode it just does not work when in fullscreen but in normal mode the instruments bar stays ever so i can use it there and then go fullscren no problem, thank you for the assistance!
