Keypad not working

I have installed zorin os 17 on my msi Bravo 15 laptop. But my keypad is not working I think it's detecting the keypad. Keypad work fine with windows and terminal. Now I need to use external keyboard to work with the zorin . External keyboard work fine with the zorin. What should I do to work with my keypad properly?

MSI Bravo 15
R5 7000 series.

You might try

sudo apt install xserver-xorg-input-all

Reboot and test. If that does not help, you may need to upgrade your kernel.
You can use:

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:tuxinvader/jammy-mainline

sudo apt update && sudo apt install linux-generic-6.06

Let's go with the most obvious first... check that the Num Lock key is pressed to enable the key pad.

Numlock is being on while starting zorin and can't be off while using it.

After upgrading kernel , it's showing this now .

If you are not dual-booting with Windows, you can disable Secure Boot in your BIOS EFI settings.
Then boot up normally.

If you are dual booting with Windows and you want Secure boot enabled, you can use the Grub Menu to access Advanced Options for Zorin and select the previous working kernel to boot from.

Still the keypad is not working.

Can you please clarify what we cannot see or know remotely trying to help you over a forum?

Is secure boot enabled or disabled?
Which kernel are you booted into?
Did you try installing xserver-xorg-input-all?

As per the instructions, i installed
xserver-xorg-input-all and restated the system and selected the previous working kernel version from the advanced version for zorin.

Is secure boot enabled?

Yes , secure boot enabled

Try it with disabled Secure Boot.
