Laptop touchpad wayland gestures

Hi people. I came back to Zorin, but I'm not super happy about how my touchpad is working. Not only I can't turn off the acceleration for touchpad (which I disabled for mouse), scrolling speed is fast as hell, but I also can't use 3 fingers swipe down to see my desktop, which in Zorin 16 used to work for me (I think via touché), which now says I'm using Wayland and therefore it might not work. I'm not a big linux tech guy so if any of you could help me with it, I'll be really thankful.

You can switch to Xorg, if Wayland is a problem. Reboot, then at login click on your profile and a gear icon appears on the screen. There you can set Zorin Desktop on Xorg.

this fixed the gestures partly since I can use touché now (but I need to use 4 fingers swipe down because gnome already uses 3 - completely useless gesture). but now it also created a new problem - touchpad can't be disabled while texting, no matter what. I remember I used to have this problem. I guess I will just switch system or something

You can install gnome tweaks and there in mouse&touchpad you can set touchpad "disable while writing"

Or in terminal:

"gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.peripherals.touchpad disable-while-typing 'true'"

Only for use in Wayland (Edit: Sorry, the following extension is not suitable for Zorin 17, but for Zorin 18 which soon will be released - then the other linked extension at the top will no longer work):
