Latest zorin os core can't get wifi drivers for bcm4311 to work

Currently I have zorin installed on a D30 core 2 duo laptop it has a bcm4311 wireless card, it is currently showing as unclaimed, under the software and updates tab it shows up as Broadcom 802.11 Linux STA wireless driver source from bcmwl-kernel-source (open source) but it also states it's an alternative driver, any help would be huge

I have also ran a sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer, and sudo reboot and it's still a no go

Perhaps this page can help?
