Just thought I would post here, since I saw in the past that people had problems with launchpad causing update problems. I was struggling to figure out why our school computers failed to update for about two weeks, and I stumbled across the forum. After messing around in the update repositories, I disabled all of the ones associated with launchpad, and the updates ran and completed. Hopefully this will help someone else out that runs into the same issue. This was on Zorin 17.2 Education Edition.

Yes by updating the repositories the launchpad worked well. Thanks for the solution. This version have many problems along with the launchpad bug error.
Welcome to the Forum!
But when You disable them, there will not come Updates through these Repo's. So, You would miss these. In Software & Updates on the forst Tab You can choose the Source. Is this set to ''Main Server''?
And when You type in the Terminal sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade
do You get any Error Messages.
