I have a Lenovo Thinkpad P15 Gen 1. I previously had Zorin 17 installed and had a number of issues setting up such as sizing, scaling, resolution etc.

I have now just installed Ubuntu 20.04, which is the supported OS for this device and it works perfectly:

I understand that Zorin 16 is based on Ubuntu 20.04, if I were to install Zorin 16 can I expect to experience the same kind of flawless function that I do with Ubuntu 20.04?

Its a shame however that I would miss the features of Zorin 17 if that is the case.

I think zorin 17 would work just fine if you switch your kernel to oem

Zorin 17 uses a generic kernel, might give it a try and see how it performs.

Use synaptic for that and search for kernel.
