Hello...
I'm just getting back into Linux and have been checking out Zorin for a few weeks now on an old Macbook Pro. (it seems to work quite well) I am wondering if there is any way to get the Libre Wolf browser installed on Zorin. The Libre Wolf website does not have any mention of Zorin. I have been checking out Libre Wolf on a Windows machine and would like to use it on the Zorin laptop.
Thanks in advance...
Bob in Tulsa, OK
(I am not shy about using terminal and going the command line route)
I will give it a try....
Thanks..
I downloaded the .deb file from their debian instructions
then I just installed. Pretty easy.
I do not have it
Anyone have some experience with this browser?
If you are not using Snap or Flatpak, it will not show up in Software
Store.
Ah, OK.
That must be it
As you know I'm using Gnome.
How can I check if I'm using Snap or Flatpak.
For me it does show up in Software Store.
flatpak list
gives you all flatpak installed in your system.
and I am allergic to SNAP
Got it installed. I needed to get flatpak activated and then Wolf displayed in the Software Hub...
Thanks..
Fantastic!! Feels good when you accomplish something after a little help.
Look forward to you growing and helping us grow too!
I do. I use it for anything private but not onion-level private. So basically checking shopping sites and maybe 18+ site that I don't want its history recorded.
Last time i used Brave webbrowser. Using tor and not using some tracking engines.
