Hi everyone,
I really appreciate the clean and user-friendly design of Zorin OS and am currently building a hosting service for customers who need to distribute and encode video on servers. I plan to use Proxmox as the host and provide access to the servers via VNC or a similar solution.
To avoid Windows licensing costs while maintaining an intuitive UI, I am considering using Zorin OS as the operating system.
I have the following questions:
- Am I allowed to host Zorin OS (Core, Lite, or any other free version) for my commercial customers?
- If I purchase one Zorin OS Pro license, would I be allowed to use that ISO to deploy multiple hosted instances for customers (without distributing the ISO itself)?
Additionally, which version of Zorin OS would you recommend for this use case? I was initially considering Zorin OS Lite.
I appreciate your time and any guidance you can provide.
Best regards,
Nico Laeser
