Linux Compatible gamepads?

I use a gampad (specifically 8BitDo mini controllers, such as 'Lite') for keybinding, mainly on graphics software. On windows it works great, and I use a little app called Joy2Key to remap the inputs.

However, it seems that 8BitDo do not support Linux. I have been researching for a workaround that actually works (unsuccessfully) - It connects to bluetooth in Zorin, but no inputs register (either in Linux's own keymapper: AntiMicroX, or on the 'gamepad tester' wesite).

Can anyone recommend a gamepad that works well (and is remappable natively, or using 3rd part software)? Ideally, I am looking for a small gamepad, with no joysticks - this is why the 'Lite' is so good - it sits in the palm of one hand, while I draw with the other.
That said, I am open to suggestions.

Did You tried Input Remapper for Remapping? You can install it with

sudo apt install input-remapper

Is Your Game Pad connected via Cable or with a Dongle or directly with Bluetooth without a Dongle?

EDIT: I took a quick Look on Amazon Germany and found some Gamepads where is mentioned that they support Linux:

Thanks for the feedback. The input remapper will be more than useful, as I am sure I can get this working with graphic tablets.
I did look at the joysticks you found (well, the first two), but wired can be pretty inconvenient in use. That said, it has given my the idea of trying out the 8BitDo wired (just for the experiment).
In the end it seems that the best option is an official HUION Keydial Mini Bluetooth 5.0 or XPPen Wireless Shortcut Remote. A bit more clunky (and more expensive) than the 8BitDio, but comes with Linux drivers out of the box (if this works when I get it, I will mark this thread solved)
Thanks again - the Input remapper is really cool.
