Just curious : Did you run your own distro? - read once something like that
Yes. I have created a couple different ones that I use, due to certain package preferences and a lack of patience for being controlled.
Mint prefers to source its packages in-house, using their own independent repository for Mint-sources and their own supplied package manager.
Zorin OS relies on the Ubuntu repo's and sources.
So though they are both based on Ubuntu, Mint goes a little further in their package management.
are you using it presently?
Not at this moment - as I loaded up Zorin OS 18 in order to field Forum issues... But I think I will be back on my own before long... LibAdwaita is driving me crazy.
anytime can grab an iso willing to take a look : ) what it called?
I have not publicly released it, nor will I be anytime soon.
What it is, is a GTK4 fork, with LibAdwaita fully removed.
fair enough ![]()
it's a common known bug in mint but why you cry in zorin forum is perplexing ?
You don't need to write me, if it bothers you that I'm on Mint. I didn't get upset, I just asked nicely.
Please read the Guidelines for posting.
Many GnuLinux users explore and distrohop; and there are no "true intentions" being displayed; @Forpli made a comparison between Zorin OS and Mint OS.
Which is a common occurrence across the forum.

He did (Highlighting added by me):
That is from the first post in the thread.
not to my reply and subsequent. you honestly thing should read everything stated - what counts is what is given to zoran replies - and there were heaps of replies - and 1 honest reply would have given an answer - so, who's trying to fool who?
Even when @Aravisian pointed out your error, by showing this...
You then demenstrate this behavior bellow...
You demonstrate the lack of ability to, admit when you are wrong, to take the correction, learn from it, and to not infringe again.
Regarding your 2nd point, yes I do expect one to read the posts, to be informed, before making a reply themselves. By admitting your lack of doing so, only demonstrates your ignorance, and by your behavior, arrogance.
Continue this behavior, and you will find yourself suspended, for not following the rules, and not correcting your aggressive behavior. This website is not Reddit, what is tolerated there, is not tolerated here.
