Login loop after changing theme

Yesterday I did a fresh install because I was not able to login using xorg, today I used the os perfectly with no issues, but when I started changing some options on "Zorin Appearance" and "taskbar settings" the screen simply froze, and when I rebooted I'm suddenly in the login loop again with xorg, wayland works, maybe it's a bug in zorin? HOW TO RESET MY XORG FILES AND ALL UI CHANGES? I tried creating a test user with default config and it worked fine with xorg. I'll add that I also tried logging in with wayland and tried setting the options to default, but simply doesn't work, please help, I'm tired of doing fresh installs

Usually it would be your home config directory. You can reset that to default by simply removing the entire directory.
A new one of fresh defaults is created on next reboot.

Or back up the old

mv ~/.config ~/.config-bk

Reboot.

So, it's basically a fresh install, but not installing the os again, right?

All that does is move or remove a directory.

The .config directory stores files that annotate User Set Configuration Choices.
