I recently noticed that the user card component of my login screen is black, and it is quite jarring since I'm using a light background. Is there a way to make it transparent and somehow blurred? I'm using zorin 18
You could try it with GDM Settings and using there a fitting Theme for Your Wallpaper. You can install GDM Settings with sudo apt install gdm-settings libglib2.0-dev-bin

At the moment I'm not in a gnome session to test if the programs offer what you want, but they are good to create individual login and lockscreens.
