The Video is ... interesting. But this MS Screwing from the Thread Title is a bit overdramatic in my Opinion.
Don't understand me wrong: That Windows can damage the Linux Boot Files is not wrong. And it is of Course not good. But what the Video adresses here is more preventing Stuff.
The seperate /home Partition is something what is a Point - and the Explanation why is okay I think. But I wouldn't see it as a Must-Have. At the End the Boot Order, You can set up in BIOS, too. There should be an Option called '''Boot Order'' where You can change the Positions in the List. That might be easier than making it in the Terminal - even when the shown wasn't wrong.
Forgot the mention something: The damaged Bootloader. In this Case, I wouldn't directly reinstall the whole System. First, I would try Boot Repair from the Live Mode. That might be already enough.
