Lost internet after uninstalling kde-connect

I'd been having issues with Zorin connect. Sometimes it would detect my phone and sometimes it wouldn't.
After much frustration in reading, I found A post that said if you install KDE Connect, problem goes away. I did that and it seemed to fix it. A few days go by and sure enough this morning my phone wouldn't connect again and it wouldn't detect my computer and vice versa.
So with that, I uninstalled KDE Connect. And before I could even go to reinstall it to try again, I realized it took my internet with it.
So now I can't get online. I can't download any updates. I can't do anything.
I have tried rebooting my machine. I've tried going back to a previous kernel. I've tried rebooting my router, I even tried time shift and went back to five days ago since that was the most recent backup I had. I don't know what else to do. I can't even do the router stuff on my machine anymore. It won't talk to it. It times out, and it's on a wired connection. I had to do all that from my phone! Please help me.

**edit **

So I just noticed that my wired connection keeps turning itself off as well. I turned it on, quickly opened Firefox, and for a brief second I had internet and my Amazon came up. When I refreshed the page, it was gone again, and a few seconds later, my wired connection turned itself back off.

Did You tried to restart Your Router? Or reset to Factory Settings?

Can you check /var/log/apt/history.log to see what was removed when you uninstalled KDE-Connect?

KDE Connect should not affect ethernet and does not directly interact with or configure hardware-level network drivers or kernel modules.

But maybe a dependency caused an issue.
Also, do you have Firewall Enabled? If so, may need to check your IP Tables.

Thanks for replying. But as I mentioned, I ran time shift and have now gone back to five days ago before I ever even installed KDE-Connect . So upon checking the log and doing a search for KDE, there is no mention of those three letters in the log at all.

Is it possible to just reinstall my network stuff? I don't really know how it works in Linux. All I do know is that I do not want to have to start over with this installation again. As for my router, the router is not the issue. All other devices are working fine with it and so was my computer until I uninstalled KDE Connect. Also, my firewall is turned off. I haven't actually used my firewall in quite some time because I was having unrelated issues a year ago. Also, why would my connection keep turning itself off? Like literally. The toggle in my quick settings goes grey. I have to turn it back on again, and a few minutes later it's back off.

To start, can we identify your device?

sudo lshw -C network

Also, please answer about whether you are using Firewall...

Sorry. I thought I mentioned earlier. Firewall is off. Has been for some time now.

Have you tried

sudo modprobe -r r8169

sudo modprobe r8169

If that still does not work, we may need to reinstall the driver.

sudo apt remove r8168-dkms

sudo apt install r8168-dkms

Thanks for the help. After much frustration and cussing at the computer, I finally figured it out. Kernel 6.14.3 breaks networking and BT on my system. 6.14.2 is completely fine, as are all the prior ones down to 6.11. (anything lower and my wifi won't work as there is no driver for it in older kernels). That's why I couldn't figure it out. It had been several days before I noticed that it wasn't working, so, mentally, I just wasn't able to make the connection lol.
Thanks for all the help. I'm learning so much!
