Making an Arm version

Currently, the ZorinGroup has given the Direct Upgrade path the Highest Priority and hopefully users will soon rejoice over those results.
With such priorities settled, this may mean that the ZorinGroup will have more time to devote to the ARM based option.

Interesting he created a version arm raspberrypi.

Since ARM-based devices are more and more becoming a thing in terms of client computing, are there any news about a native ARM64 build?

Or any workarounds or releases that I may have overseen?

I'm also very interested in this.

Just bought myself a new Samsung Galaxy Book4 Edge. ARM and AI ready.
So would be nice if I could run the Zorin OS Pro on this.

Don't force me to move to another distro...

That is odd. When I have searched for the S4 Book, can only find Intel processor as an option. Samsung might also be facing issues with other devices that use Qualcomm designed ARM achitectures:

Done my research on that and have to say that this is worrying me, since Qualcomm is one of the biggest pushing the CCD segment with several manufacturers.

Although it is foreseeable that they will come to an agreement at some point and Qualcomm most likely will continue producing and selling chips (at least with the ARMv8 instruction set) until the conclusion of the lawsuit, there may be possibilites for a less favorable outcome on the receiving end. Especially in terms of further development.

Nevertheless I am curious whether Zorin has an ARM64 build in short or long term planning (e. g. similar to Ubuntu Desktop ARM64 daily builds) or if the ongoing mud fighting between Qualcomm and Arm Holding is influencing development decisions.

There is/are also another issue/s nicely explained here:

So you can see there are off the shelf ones that get tweaked by those who buy from ARM.
