Good thought. I will report this up to brave also.
The issue is in-fact only applicable to native versions and not an issue on Flatpak/Snap versions of chromium browsers.
I did quite a lot of testing with chromium based browsers, window environments and scaling this weekend.
The consistent theme is:
- Wayland session
- Chromium browsers (135 or later)
- Native install (.deb)
- Fractional scaling enabled (does not actually need to be scaled up, just enabling the feature brings out the cursor issue)
I did not test:
- Different gnome versions
- Nvidia vs AMD cards (though I did disable the Nvidia card in my laptop and use the intel card, with the same results)
