I was taking a look around in the minecraft launcher out of curiosity, and I noticed something odd in the page for the realms subscriptions for bedrock edition:
tux the penguin is there, right next to windows, in the list of supported platforms, despite currently not being an officially supported platform (all ways to play the game on linux currently rely on using the android version, which is also listed there)
For a bit of extra context for those who don't play Minecraft; the Java edition is supported on linux, as well as windows and mac. Bedrock edition is supported on consoles, phones/tablets, and windows, but not on linux nor mac, so if you want to play on pc with someone who plays on console, currently, you either need windows or you use the android version on linux through an unofficial port or with a translation layer
