Hello, I have a small visual bug with the minimise feature on Zorin. I understand that the default on the GNOME desktop is for the minimise animation to go towards the top-left corner of the screen, but there is also an animation (included by Zorin?) that goes towards the icon on the taskbar. My problem is that both of these animations are being applied together, and the window flickers between each one each frame.
I couldn't find an extension in the GNOME Extension Manager app that seems relevant so I am asking here if there is a way to disable one of these animations so that the minimise animation displays correctly. I prefer the minimise-to-taskbar animation but am happy to settle for the other if I can't find a solution for this.
The issue occurs at both 60Hz and 165Hz. I am using X11.
I've tried to replicate but I only have Zorin OS on a virtual machine at the moment and animations are simply not playing for me. However, you might try a simple "reset" by going into Zorin Apperance -> Effects -> Enable Animations. Try toggle it off and back on.
Otherwise I'm not sure what it could be, I've never had any issues with animations when closing windows.
I also suffer from this problem, in my case I use the toolbar at the top of the monitor, but this bug only occurs when I minimize a maximized application. I didn't find a solution other than turning off zorin's animations, but this makes the system very boring so for now I leave it activated and ignore the bug kkkkkk.
I don't speak English and I used Google Translate so ignore the mistakes pls
