I've tried running it with secure boot on and off already this does not make a difference.
I've also tried csm on and off this does also not make a difference.
When I'm booting from the usb stick it works just not when I'm booting from the hard drive.
I've already installed zorin os 18 core on both a custom build desktop and a HP pavilion laptop before. These 2 worked immediately so it's the first time these problems occur.
If you need more pictures or information just ask I will provide them as soon as possible.
Thank you for the response.
I did try and turn secure boot off.
But I've never heard from secure boot keys.
I will check it out tomorrow and see if I can delete them.
I just want to say thank you to both of you.
In these couple months that I'm using zorin os I've already learned so much.
Switching to zorin os (or Linux in general) from windows was a real pain. And I've still got ways to go before I probably know equally much as I do from windows.
And I'm happy you guys are here to always help me (and everyone else in the community) further!
Now that I'm getting more and more accustomed to zorin I'm not going to say it's 'better' then windows but it's a real alternative.
Both have their ups and downs.
After I started using it myself I've also got my girlfriend on zorin.
And now it's my parents turn!
Now that it's working on the laptop I can finally give them an introduction this weekend. (Using a new os is scary to them which is normal) They are at the moment using a desktop with window 7 on it. (They only use it for, browser, mail, pdf, office and printing/scanning documents)So it's time to switch. This laptop is an old laptop with windows 10 that they never used because it was to slow. Opening programs is still slow with zorin os (+-10 seconds) but the difference is if they are open they work fast and smooth which was a problem with window 10! So in the end they never used the newer laptop with windows 10.
