i have 2 external drives mounted on my desktop , they show the uuid name and are mounted under that name how can i change this to something different so they show what i use them for and not a bunch of random letters and numbers

i found an easy way , i just formatted the drive as me and not root , that gave me all the permissions i needed and it changed the drive name to something more pleasing "External 1TB" is what i called it and now shows that name on the desktop
