Mouse Pointer Speed Tanking after Suspend or on boot

I recently changed my mouse form a mouse to a trackball, and after I set the pointer speed in settings after a suspend the speed tanks. I then have to turn off the trackball and turn it back on for it to recover. It also does this sometime after boot up.

It is a Logitech Trackball Mouse with a USB transmitted and mouse as the reciever (Wirelesss). Would anyone have some help or had this problem before?

I am running Zorin OS 16.1 on an AMD Ryzen. Any help is appreciated.

Thanks so much
