On x11 and wayland, mouse stops and other continuos but the one it stops dosent desapere only with restart in x11 but in wayland it dosent desapere.
sounds like one pointer freezes while stuff still moves. can be a stuck libinput/hid grab
-libinput list-devices
-sudo libinput debug-events (wiggle, see which device dies)
-journalctl -b | rg -i 'hid|libinput|mouse|usb'
-try another usb port / yank the dongle and replug
on wayland that stuck cursor usually needs a logout. on x11 ive had luck just logging out too
Welcome to the Forum!
- Did You tried the Mouse on a different USB Port?
- Did You tried a different Mouse if available?
- Are Secure Boot and Fast Boot in BIOS disabled?

I have bluetooh mouse.
bt mouse changes it a bit
-bluetoothctl info MAC
-sudo systemctl restart bluetooth
-btmon in a terminal while u click, see if hid reports stop
-power cycle the mouse + toggle airplane mode once
if it only dies after idle, bt autosuspend can do that. powertop or tlp usb autosuspend off for a test
What is with the other Questions? Beside that: Do You use a Dongle for the Mouse or is it connected directly to Your PC?
Eu as outras perguntas não respondi pq não uso mas um Dongle uso. Então o que posso fazer... Eu uso um programa com este nome "unclutter" que em dois sec. desaparece o ponteiro do rato e dá no x11.
yeah that unclutter thing is hiding the pointer after 2 sec on x11. looks like a freeze if ur not expecting it.
id try
-pkill unclutter
-or unclutter -idle 0 so it never hides
if the pointer still dies after that then its the bt path from earlier
You could uninstall unclutter and check if it behaves better.
