Are you getting a new PSU or yours repaired. Because if just one dc voltage line has failed and the PSU is otherwise OK, then that should be easily traced and the failed component replaced. You could do that even if you get a new PSU, so you then have a working spare. And something else for your cat to play with.

I'm getting a new one, though the old one we'll try to repair. We havn't taken a closer look where it failed.
