I think that smile will be un-done quickly when you hear about the rumours that Windows 12 as a whole may be a subscription service.

The Moto G5s Telegram Community from a couple of years ago paid off 
I was just happy to realize that I'm so disconnected from Windows that I missed the news. But yes, that subscription service is terrible... though not a very surprising move, to be honest.
