So, basically, I've got this Hp thin client which used to run on windows embedded, but I wanted to repurpose it, so i installed Zorin Lite, but, when it booted up, the cursor was HUGE, and the icons from the apps menu where very small , and just seems like everything is the wrong shape and resolution, but i can't change anything, I tried changing the cursor size, and i couldn't because it was the smallest one available.
Also... One day, I booted the thin client up, just as I use to do, but to my astonishment, everything was ok, the cursor was the correct size, and everything running smoothly. I turned off the computer, and when I checked the next day, it was all wrong AGAIN!!
Intermittent problems are the worst to diagnose...
Can you please relay what Graphics card you are using or post the terminal output of LiStHardWare:

Youa re using VIA ChromotionHD 2.0 integrated card.
Can you see if installing the xorg -openchrome package helps?
sudo apt-get install -y xserver-xorg-video-openchrome

I don't believe this should be discounted... @Indi73 , you may want to check your RAM, too and create a very swappy swap file if needed.
I undeleted that line.
"Thin Client" gave me a hint.
It is usually as powerful as the original RasPi (1GB RAM)

Yes, the Driver may have helped - but the RAM may also rear its head, too, in future.
This is part of why it is good to have multiple minds working on issues on the board.
