I have a XPS 13 2in1 and at the moment I am trying to dual boot it in windows since, I cant use the camera and many other things that I haven't found drivers in linux for. So I wanted to restart it in boot but it ends up with a black screen and the cursor in the top left. I have to actually physically hold down he power button for a couple of seconds before it does anything?
Any ideas?
For restarting, see if opening terminal and trying the command, 'reboot' works.

Can you get to CLI? Try press [ctrl]+[Alt]+[F4] to [F6]. If so try start Zorin with the command:
startx
It may give you some error output we can go from there.

I seem to have solved it by restoring my laptop with timeshift.
and this is what i get with startx
